Questions

Does claiming change my airplane's public page?
No. A claim is private: nobody else can see it. The public page changes only after you verify ownership.
Who can claim?
Owners, co-owners and people who manage an airplane for its owner. Several people can claim the same airplane.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Claiming, alerts and My Hangar are free.
How do I verify ownership?
Verification is coming: a postcard to the FAA registered address and an ID check. The address is used only for that mailing and never shown.
Are AD alerts a compliance record?
No. They say an AD may apply. Your logbooks and your mechanic are the authority.
How do I stop?
Use “Stop tracking” in My Hangar, or the unsubscribe link in any email.
