ON INITIAL CLIMB AFTER TAKEOFF, ELECTRICAL FIRE BROKE OUT IN BACK OF PILOT'S YOKE. PILOT MANAGED TO EXTINGUISH FIVE- INCH FLAMES BY HAND, CLIMBED TO 2000 FEET AND EVALUATED SITUATION.
