NTSB events (1)
Accident · substantial damage
Jun 11, 1997 · Daytona Beach, FL
failure of the pilot of N7617F to comply with an ATC instruction to hold short of a taxiway, and failure of the pilots in both airplanes to see-and-avoid each other's airplane.
These match the airframe or engine model. Whether each one applies, and whether it's been complied with, depends on serial numbers, equipment and logbook entries. Applicability must be confirmed by a mechanic against the aircraft's records.
AI-extracted — verify against original. Matched from each AD's applicability section; ADs replaced by a later AD are left out.
Service Difficulty Reports (3)
Reports of failures and defects that operators and repair stations sent to the FAA since 1995. A report describes one finding; it is not an accident.
Engine oil · baffle assy · brokenOct 30, 1995
DURING A 100-HOUR INSPECTION, THE OIL COOLER WAS FOUND SUPPORTED BY ONLY TWO BOLTS. THE OIL COOLER MOUNTING BAFFLE WAS COMPLETELY BROKEN AT TWO OF THE MOUNT HOLES AND THE OTHER TWO WERE SEVERELY CRACKED. THIS COULD CAUSE OIL COOLER TANK LEAKAGE AND POSSIBLE ENGINE FAIILURE. NEW BAFFLE INSTALLED.
