The pilot's improper inflight planning/decision. Factors were a reduction in the airplane's climb and turn capabilities, the aft c.g. limit being exceeded, and the pilot's lack of familiarity with the geographic area and his lack of experience in the airplane make and model.
WHILE ON A PERSONAL CROSS-COUNTRY FLIGHT THE AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED A COMPLETE LOSS OF POWER AND MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING ON A ROAD 2.5 MILES EAST OF THE AIRPORT. THE PILOT STATED THAT THE AIRCRAFT RAN OUT OF FUEL.
These match the airframe or engine model. Whether each one applies, and whether it's been complied with, depends on serial numbers, equipment and logbook entries. Applicability must be confirmed by a mechanic against the aircraft's records.
